Fort Bard: from history into the future

Vins Extrêmes, the international exhibition dedicated to heroic wines

Saturday, November 22nd and Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, Fort Bard host Vins Extrêmes, the international exhibition dedicated to heroic viticulture wines. This is a unique event that celebrates the meeting of oenological excellence, breathtaking landscapes, and a passion for a territory with all its harshness and challenges.

The two-day event will feature tastings, round tables, technical meetings, and in-depth sessions, with a focus not only on wine but on mountain agriculture as a whole. All of this will take place in an exceptional setting with significant cultural and territorial value. The event is organized by Cervim (Centre for Research, Study, Safeguarding, Coordination, and Valorization of Mountain Viticulture), in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the Aosta Valley Region, the Chambre valdôtaine, and the Fort  Bard Association.

Vins Extrêmes is an international benchmark for the mountain wine sector because it highlights wines produced in extreme geographical and climatic conditions, often in marginal territories rich in history and identity. It is precisely from these difficulties that the uniqueness of these intense, authentic wines, deeply connected to the local landscape and culture, is born.
