EDUCATION. Workshops and educational activities

The main cultural centre of Aosta Valley offers to schools a wide range of workshops and educational activities. They can be modulated depending on school attitude and on children age.
Three permanent paths inside the majestic fortress, reachable through a walking distance and with three panoramic lifts free of charge, offering a breath-taking view of the Dora Baltea central valley. The Museum of the Alps is the heart of the cultural offer, a path made of thirty rooms to discover the alpine world that is perfect in terms of teaching. In addition to the Museum it is possible to join the path called The Children Alps, featuring a virtual ascent to the Mont Blanc, then the historic route of the Prisons and a range of photographic and art exhibitions of international aim.
Schools can also choose to join a guided tour of the Fortress in combination with permanent museums.

In Opera Mortai (picture) it has been set up a resting place and a welcome area both dedicated to schools, with a classroom for workshops, meetings and screenings.

Museum workshops

Fortress of Bard Association offers different educational workshops accordingly to different schools. School educational workshops are available from Tuesday to Friday, both in the morning and in the afternoon. A renewed and stronger offer. The kind of the educational class, its aims, the duration of the visit and the workshop activity has been designed to suit the specific age of each group and accordingly to teachers’ needs.

All schools:
150,00 € (110,00 € if organized between September and January)
Rates refer to groups with a maximum of 25 students and they do not include the entrance ticket to the Museum of the Alps or the Prisons.
Nursery School and disabled: free entrance
Primary and Secondary School: free entrance
