Christmas brings unique emotions to the Fort Bard with the fifth edition of Christmas Lights at the Fortress. The sound and light show in the fortress’ Piazza d’Armi returns from November 27 to December 31, 2026. Every evening, a sparkling and surreal atmosphere will celebrate the holidays with video mapping special effects projected onto the facades in a new display inspired this year by the fairy tale “Alice in Wonderland.”

The show, titled Alice in ChristmasLand, will revisit the fairy tale for Christmas. The Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, the merciless Queen of Hearts, the wise Caterpillar, and many other astonishing creatures will accompany the audience on a magical journey to experience Christmas at the Bard Fort in a fantastical way, in an immersive 360° setting.

The Piazza d’Armi will host Santa Claus’s village, complete with refreshments serving hot drinks and Christmas sweets. During the holidays, Bard Fort will also offer a calendar of events for the whole family, including shows, children’s entertainment, and concerts.

The shows will not take place on on November 30th, December 14th, 21st, and 25th.
Admission is included in the Bard Fort ticket.
