The Salumificio Bertolin cured meat factory has been an important part of the Aosta Valley food and wine industry for over 60 years. History, family and quality are words that perfectly describe this historic company based in the municipality of Arnad, and prime producers of the famous Vallée d’Aoste Lard d’Arnad Dop.
It all began with Guido and Osvalda, who opened the town’s first butcher’s shop in 1957.
Subsequently, with Rinaldo, the couple’s son, and his wife Marilena, the company began to expand and is now led by the third generation of Bertolins, with the brothers Guido and Alexandre.
The Bertolin cured meat factory offers tourists and visitors the opportunity to buy all of its delicious products directly in-situ, as well as a selection of the best local VdA delicacies, such as Génépy, honey, wafer biscuits (tegole), wines and much more.
The Lo Scrigno dei Sapori store is open 7 days a week, and it is also possible to take guided tours of the factory and taste the entire range of Bertolin products.
