Wildlife Photographer of the Year

The exhibition brings together over one hundred winning images in the 17 categories of the competition organized by the Natural History Museum of London togheter with the BBC Wildlife Magazine and Forte di Bard, now in its 47th edition. Photographies have been selected by a jury of esteemed photographers and from over 40.000 shots from around the world.

Giuseppe Bogliani teacher of Science and Technologies for nature at Pavia University will discuss the most interesting aspects related to the animal and vegetal domain which are represented in the exposition. Some representatives of Animals Asia Foundation, with the interest of protecting the Moon Bears will participate to the conference, to which the exposition offers a charitable initiative.

. Three wildlife photographers’ portfolio
Friday, May 4th, 2012 – 9.00 p.m., Library Hall – Châtillon (Ao)

Nature photographers Daisy Gilardini, Stefano Unterthiner and Marco Spataro will be the stars of one evening entirely devoted to the wild photography.

. Forte di Bard Professional Education: Wildlife Photography Master
Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th 2012

The Master offers a very qualified lecture entirely devoted to the study of nature photography techniques, to the reading of the participants portfolio and to the use of editing tools. The classes will be handled by Daisy Gilardini, Marco Spataro and Stefano Unterthiner.
