The Best of cycling 2024, un anno di grande ciclismo

Cycling, which thrills millions of fans worldwide, is revealed through a year of images in the fourth edition of “The Best of Cycling” exhibition. It’s happening at the Stables of Forte di Bard from May 1 to September 14, 2025. On display are about sixty photographs that participated in the annual, eponymous competition organized by Roberto Bettini, the doyen of cycling photographers. The exhibition is curated by journalist Federico Bona.

The “The Best of Cycling” competition is now in its eighth edition, maintaining the spirit and standard of its debut edition in 2017. Each year, Roberto Bettini brings together the best photographers to create a review of images, strictly from the past season, that tell the story of both major and niche events: the Grand Tours and small local races, road cycling, track cycling, and off-road. The winner was Etienne Garnier, a French photographer from L’Équipe, with a shot taken at the Tour de France depicting a fan watching the race pass by without looking away from his meal.

Admission is included in the Forte’s entrance ticket.
